Bed Sheets
When I started in the textile business,
the common sheeting fabric was a 78x44 (122 count)70%polysester,
30% cotton construction, much like the sandpaper in my garage.
Now things have changed for the better,
200 cotton is the common minimum quality. Buy better quality
sheets, a good long term investment for both your sleeping comfort and
bed protection. Wash your sheets often, (at least once a week) the
best protection against dust mites available.
We use 350 thread count cotton sateen
weave sheets on our bed. Good value, with excellent quality and
hand. Make sure the depth of the fitted sheet will fit on your
mattress securely, nothing is worse than waking up in the middle of the
night with one corner of the sheet over your head.
